The Little Pumpkin Book
by Katy Bratun
Random House Books for Young Readers
Illustrated in full color. In the spring, two children plant some pumpkin seeds. They tend the plants all summer and harvest the pumpkins come fall, when it's time to carve them into jack-o'-lanterns and bake them into pies. When springtime rolls around again, they plant the seeds they've been saving all winter long.
