[15 Minutes]
Delight your child with this easy and fun to make treat, just in time for Halloween.
You'll need:
12-ounce package chocolate chips

M & M's candy
waxed paper
microwave
glass or plastic bowl
spoon
What to do:
- Place the chocolate chips into a medium size bowl and melt in the microwave.
- Invite your child to stir in the noodles, saving some extra noodles to use as spider legs after the bodies are made.
- Let cool slightly. Drop by spoonfuls onto the waxed paper.
- Your child can now add eight legs to the main body.
- Together make spider faces with colorful M & M candies.
- Store these Halloween treats in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Let's Talk: Ideas to Explore Together.
- Which part of these spiders do you like best? The chocolate? The noodles? The candy?
- Have you seen a real spider? Did it look like the ones we just made? Tell me about it.
