You'll need:
a variety of balls
What to do:
- Bounce a ball as you sing the following song with your child (Tune: "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush"):
This is the way we bounce the ball, Bounce the ball, bounce the ball; This is the way we bounce the ball, As we sing and play.
- Then invite your child to bounce the ball and help her count the bounces.
- Select different-sized balls to bounce and talk to her about the differences in action.
- Bounce the ball back and forth to each other as a game.
