Stars on the Ceiling

[15 Minutes]

Spend a few relaxing minutes with your child making stars on the ceiling and singing a special song!

You'll need:

• flashlight

What to do:

1. Lie on the floor with your child in a darkened room.
2. With a flashlight, help your child shine the beam of light on the ceiling.
3. Encourage her to move the light and watch the lights dance on the ceiling wall like twinkling stars.
4. Together, sing the traditional song, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".
5. As a variation, sing this song with the same tune.

   Twinkle, twinkle little lights,
   On the ceiling, oh, so bright.
   With my flashlight I will shine
   Beams of light for us to find.
   Twinkle, twinkle little lights
   On the ceiling, oh, so bright.
