Chocolate Pudding Spelling

This is a fun and delicious way to help your child practice spelling words. Playing this game helps improve vocabulary.
You'll need:
• chocolate pudding (or any other favorite flavor) • paper plate
What to do:
- If possible, print out these directions. Read them through together before you begin.
- Together, gather everything you'll need.
How to play:
- Spread a thin layer of pudding on a paper plate.
- Dictate one of your child’s spelling words.
- Your child must take his finger and write the word in the pudding.
- If the word is spelled correctly, your child may lick his finger. If not, smooth the pudding and try again.
- After each word has been correctly spelled, have your child smooth out the pudding. (Add more pudding as needed.
- Continue until all of the words have been dictated.
- Together, enjoy a snack of chocolate pudding.
