[20 Minutes]
No equipment is needed for this story game. Just turn on your imaginations and set off on an adventure.
What to do:
- Invite your child to go on a leprechaun hunt that is an adaptation of the childhood favorite, "Going on a Bear Hunt."
Going on a leprechaun hunt. I'm not afraid. Let's go! Oh, look! I see a grassy field. Can’t go around it. Can't go under it. Can't go over it.
Let's go through it. Let's go! Swish, swish, swish, swish!
- Continue with other verses:
I see a giant tree.... climb, climb, climb. I see a river.........swim, swim, swim. I see a dark cave...tippy, tippy, toe. It's really dark in here. Better turn on my flashlight. Oh, no. I see something! It's mean! It's green! It's a leprechaun! Let's go!
- Show your child how to do hand motions for the movements throughout this verse as she chants.
