You'll need:

• clear plastic glass or cup • vanilla yogurt • fruit (fresh, frozen or canned) • spoon

What to do:

  1. Into a clear plastic glass or cup, layer vanilla yogurt with fruits.
  2. Invite your child to help put the fruit pieces between each layer of yogurt.
  3. To make it colorful, layer several different types of fruit such as peaches, plums, strawberries, blueberries and mandarin oranges.
  4. Enjoy this yummy and healthful treat with your child!

Let's Talk: Ideas to Explore Together.

  • How many layers of fruit are in your parfait? Let's count them together.
  • Can you name the colors of each fruit? Which one is your favorite color?
  • Which fruit is your favorite?
