Do the Water Walk
[30 Minutes]
Need to cool off? Put on your swimsuits and play in the sprinklers together!
You'll need:
sprinkler swimsuits pool shoes or old sneakers (optional)
What to do:
- On a hot summer day, set up a water sprinkler on a level, grassy area where your child can run through it safely.
- Your child may want to protect his feet by wearing pool shoes or old sneakers.
- Invite your child to walk through the sprinkler using a variety of body parts. Why not join your child in this game. Start with your hands on your head and then try:
Hands on your shoulders waist knees ears elbows mouth back chin thighs nose neck chest
- When you have accomplished these movements, give yourself a big hug as you walk through the water this time.
