Bicycle for Two Race

Use your bicycle riding skills and ride as slowly as you can to win this game. Playing this game will help improve coordination, balance, and concentration.
You'll need:
bicycles chalk
What to do:
- If possible, print out these directions. Read them through together before you begin.
- With your child decide on a place to mark off the race course.
- Let him use the chalk to draw two lines that are parallel, 3 feet wide, and spaced 10 feet apart. The distance of the course depends on how much space is available in your area. Fifty feet is optimal.
How to play:
- You and your child pick a lane and ride down that path as slowly as possible.
- The last one to finish wins!
Useful information:
I thought this would be easy, but it was really challenging to ride as slowly as possible. I raced my step dad, we both finished at the same time. This is a good way to work on balance. (David, age 10)
