Who am I?
[30 Minutes]
This game can be played anywhere, even while you are traveling. The object of the game is to guess the person chosen by player 1 by asking for clues gained from no more than 15 questions. Playing this game will help improve creative thinking and verbal skills.
You'll need:
pen and pad
What to do:
- If possible, print out these directions. Read them through together before you begin.
- Together, gather everything you’ll need.
How to play:
- Explain to your child that you will think of a person and write that person’s name on a piece of paper. The person should be well known. He can be a political figure, a musician, an athlete, etc. The person does not have to be living.
- Your child is allowed to only ask 15 questions about the person. She wins if she correctly guesses the person before asking all 15 questions. She loses if she guesses incorrectly or does not guess after the 15 questions are asked.
- Then it is her turn to think of a famous person and the players' roles change.
- If both players guess the mystery person before asking 15 questions, the player who has asked the fewest number of questions wins!
Useful information:
My mom and I just returned from a long trip. We went to see my Uncle Sid. Mom and I played every game we could like of to pass the time. This game was a lot of fun and we laughed at the interesting people we thought of. (Shelly, age 11)
