Design a Summer Sketch Chair
[60 Minutes]
The use of chairs dates back to ancient times. Chairs were only used by nobility, royalty, the wealthy class, and the priesthood. It wasn't until the 16th century that chairs were used by everyone. American colonists modeled chairs after the ones used in the countries they came from. For example, American chairs have had the influence of Swedish, English, German, and Dutch design.
