The Colors in the Sky
[20 Minutes]
On a nice, clear day, go for a walk with your child and enjoy the beautiful colors in the sky!
You'll need:
blanket pad of plain paper crayons
What to do:
- Go for a walk and find an area to lay out a blanket. Lie down on your backs and look up at the sky.
- Invite your child to tell you what colors he sees in the sky.
- Encourage him to describe the clouds. Are they white or gray?
- Ask him to tell you the color of the sky. Is it light blue or dark blue?
- Give your child a pad of paper and crayons and encourage him to draw a picture of the sky.
