Card Deck Race

Card Deck Race

[20 Minutes]

Here’s a fast –paced, game where the two of you work through your deck of cards in numeric order and specific suit. The player who gets done first is the winner.

You'll need:

• 2 deck of cards

What to do:

  1. If possible, print out these directions. Read them through before you begin.
  2. Gather everything you’ll need.
  3. Sit at a table facing each other. You will each need a full deck of playing cards.

How to play:

  1. One player chooses a suit (hearts, clubs, spades or diamonds).
  2. At the sound of GO, each player must sort through their deck and find the ace in that suit. Keep the deck in your hand and all cards together. Place the found card on the table.
  3. Next, sort through the deck again and find the 2. Keep going through the deck each time finding the 3, 4, 5…up to jack, queen, and king. You must find each card in order—one at a time.
  4. The first player to complete this task wins.
