Ice Pick

Here’s a game to prove who has good dexterity with their hands. It’s a race to move ice cubes with toothpicks from one bowl to another.

You'll need:

• ice cubes • toothpicks • 4 bowls

What to do:

1. If possible, print out these directions. Read them through before you begin.
2. Gather everything you’ll need.
3. Place two bowls on a starting line and then two bowls at a finish line, about 10 feet apart. Place the same number of ice cubes in the starting bowls.

How to play:

1. Each player stands on the starting line with two toothpicks in hand.
2. On the start, GO, each player picks up an ice cube with the toothpicks and races to the empty bowl at the finish line.
3. If any player drops an ice cube on the floor, she must pick it up off the floor with the toothpicks and continue racing. After the player drops their cube in the empty bowl (finish line), she then races back to the filled bowl to pick up another ice cube and proceed to the finish line again.
4. The person who empties their filled bowl and successfully fills the empty bowl first is the winner.
