Make a Butterfly Dish
[15 Minutes]
Your child can create a watering hole for butterflies.
You'll need:
a shallow weatherproof dish rocks or pebbles water
What to do:
- Discuss with your child the importance of water to all living things.
- Invite him to place rocks and pebbles in the shallow dish. When he adds water, the rocks will need to be partially exposed to serve as landings for the butterflies.
- Decide together on a location for the butterfly dish so that the new friends can easily be observed and enjoyed.
