Nutritious Ants on a Log
[15 Minutes]
Raisins are made from dried grapes. They are either sun-dried or dehydrated chemically. Thompson seedless, zante, and muscat are the most common grapes used for raisins. Dark and golden raisins are made from Thompson grapes, currants are made from zante grapes. Muscat grapes produce an intensely sweet, musky flavored raisin. Raisins are high in sugar, contain minerals, vitamins, and are rich in iron. Use dark raisins to prepare a fun, nutritious snack.
