Need a simple game to play with your child? Go into your child's room and play a simple game of "Something red in my room!"
What to do:
- Invite your child into your child's room and ask her to play a new game with you.
- Pick up an item that is red. Ask her to tell you the color of the item.
- Encourage her to show a toy that is red.
- Challenge her to find an article of clothing that is red.
- After finding as many red items as she can find, invite her to count the items with you!
How to use:
- If you have a box handy, put all of the items that you can in the box!
- Feel free to play this game another day with a different color.
