Snow Spray Paint

[30 Minutes]

Colors and creativity flow as you and your child add a new and exciting art experience to your winter days!

You'll need:

• empty household cleaner spray bottle, well cleaned out • water-thinned food colors

What to do:

1. Help your child fill each bottle with a different color.
2. Invite him to use the spray paints on the freshly fallen snow to make a snow painting.
3. Watch the snow melt together. The paint will disappear and not harm the environment.
4. Encourage your child to spray primary colors (red, yellow, blue) on the snow. When he sprays and mixes two primary colors, he'll see secondary colors (green, orange, purple) appearing on the snow.
