My First Telescope
[20 Minutes]
Make this fun and easy telescope for you and your child to view stars!
You'll need:
paper towel roll tape cellophane or plastic wrap sticker stars crayons
What to do:
- Save an empty paper towel tube.
- Invite your child to decorate the tube with crayons as he wishes.
- Tape clear cellophane or plastic wrap over the bottom end.
- Together, place colorful sticker stars on the plastic wrap.
- Encourage your child to look into the telescope. Talk about what you see. Talk about the colors.
- This is the perfect time to sing a traditional star song together.
