You'll need:

What to do:
- Teach your child the following song using his name in the blank (Tune: "Mary Had a Little Lamb"):
______ is going to the park today, park today, park today, ______ is going to the park today And with his friends he'll play.
- Invite your child to tell you the names of his friends and sing the song about each one. Print their names on a piece of paper for your child to see.
- Encourage your child to tell you about each of his friends as you sing the song.
- Make up new words together for different friends. For example: "Jenna is riding her trike today"; "Max is walking his dog today"; "Tanisha is playing with blocks today", and so on.
