Fall Scavenger Hunt

Use your senses by enjoying the sights, smells, sounds and feel of the fall season when you take your child on a fall scavenger hunt for fun and learning!

What to do:
- Ask your child to look out the window. Ask him what he sees. Point out the trees, the leaves blowing, the squirrels, and so on.
- Invite him to go outside with you and look for fall things together.
- Stand quietly for a minute and see what interests your child.
- Try to follow his lead. If he picks up a leaf, ask him to help you find the tree that sent this leaf down to the ground.
- Look for acorns that the squirrels are collecting for winter.
- Encourage your child to collect acorns and leaves of different colors and sizes.
