Sticky Paper Collage

Sticky Paper Collage

[15 Minutes]

Your child will enjoy creating a beautiful collage to hang on the refrigerator.

You'll need:

• sheet of white paper • clear contact paper • tissue paper • tape

What to do:

  1. Place sheet of paper on the table.
  2. Tape the corners down so that the paper doesn't wiggle.
  3. Invite your child to tear up the tissue paper.
  4. Let him place the tissue paper scraps on the white paper. Encourage to place different colors on top of each other.
  5. When he is finished, cover the paper with a piece of clear contact paper.
  6. Display this colorful collage for everyone to admire.

Let's Talk: Ideas to Explore Together.

  • Let's see how many different colors we can find on your collage.
  • Tell me about your collage. Did you have fun making it?
  • Where should we put your collage so everyone can see it?

Useful information:

While you are having fun together, this activity helps your child develop small muscle skills and eye/hand coordination.
