A Breakfast for Mother

A Breakfast for Mother

[20 Minutes]

Serve Mom a "hearty" breakfast made by your child with love on Mother's Day!

You'll need:

• bread • cream cheese • strawberry jam • heart-shape cookie cutter • plastic knife • bowl • spoon • plate

What to do:

  1. Mix softened cream cheese with strawberry jam in a bowl.
  2. Help your child cut heart shapes from bread with a cookie cutter.
  3. Invite her to spread the strawberry-cheese mixture on the bread hearts using a plastic knife.
  4. Serve these on a pretty plate with Mom's favorite juice.
  5. Serenade her with this loving song as she eats her special breakfast. (Tune: "Are you Sleeping"):
I love Mommy, I love Mommy
Yes I do, yes I do.
    I made a special breakfast
To show how much I love you
On Mother's Day, on Mother's Day.
