Animal Alphabet
[20 Minutes]
Challenge your child to create a zoo animal for every letter of the alphabet.
You'll need:
construction paper scraps of cut and torn paper (newspaper, tissue, wallpaper, gift wrap) glue scissors
What to do:
- Invite your child to choose a letter of the alphabet and create an animal using the paper scraps.
- Encourage her to glue the animal onto paper and write its name somewhere beside it.
- Challenge her to use the same beginning letter as the animal's name and write where the animal lives and what it eats. For example:
Abboo It lives in Alaska. It eats ants.
