Soapy Snow Creatures
[30 Minutes]
Sculptures can be made of just about anything and date back to prehistoric times. The earliest sculptures were made of ivory, bone, horn, or stone and are thought to be 27,000 to 30,000 years old! Make these snowy soap sculptures to create a medium of your own.
You'll need:
Ivory Snow powder water bowl wrapping paper
What to do:
- If possible, print out these directions. Read them through before you begin.
- Gather everything you'll need and always remember art safety.

- Think of what type of sculpture you would like to create.
- You may wish to draw a design on paper first.
- Make your own snow creations, molding the Ivory mixture into any shape you choose.
- Add more water or more soap powder to keep the mixture easy to mold.
- Allow the soap shapes to harden.
