Holiday Sewing Cards

Don't throw away those holiday greeting cards! Not only are they beautiful, but you can use them to create sewing cards with your child.
You'll need:
greeting cards yarn tape hole punch scissors
What to do:
- Cut an 18"-long piece of yarn and wrap one end with tape. Make a knot at the opposite end.
- Cut off the cover of a greeting card.
- Help your child use the hole punch to punch holes around the design or around the edge of the cards.
- Invite your child to "sew" by moving the yarn tip--up and down--through holes.
