Sugar Free Family Ice Cream

Who would believe you could make this ice cream while you take a family walk together? Try it and see!
You'll need:
1 empty 13 oz. coffee can with lid 1 empty 34 oz. coffee can with lid 1 cup milk 1 cup whipping cream or liquid coffee creamer 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed 3/4 tsp. vanilla measuring cups and spoons ice rock salt small bowls spoons
What to do:
- Help your child measure the ingredients into the clean small coffee can.
- Place the small can inside the larger one. Layer ice cubes and rock salt in the space between the cans.
- Take the can outside on the driveway or sidewalk.
- Lay the can on its side and push the can with hands or feet to each other. Or take the can for a walk down the street or around the block.
- After 10 minutes, drain off the excess salt water and refill with more ice and rock salt. Take the ice cream for another walk of about 7-10 minutes.
- Remove the small can. Wipe it with a damp cloth to remove the salt water.
- Spoon the ice cream into small bowls and taste it.
