Flashlight Game
[15 Minutes]
Need a new idea to get your child to bed? This game will have your child begging to be tucked in.
You'll need:
flashlight assorted objects or toys (cup, paint jar, block, ball, etc.).
What to do:
- Place objects such as a cup, paint jar, block and ball in a a row near a wall.
- Turn off the light (make sure it is not completely dark).
- Have your child sit across the room from the objects.
- You name an object for her to find.
- Have her find this object and shine the light directly on it while you count to five.
- Take turns holding the flashlight and finding objects. With practice, your child should be able to locate things placed around the room.
How to use:
Any games you can play in the dark will help your child to realize there is little to be afraid of.
